Both schools have a committed P.T.A who work tirelessly to raise funds for their schools.
North Petherwin School is supported by their Parent, Teacher & Friends Association (P.T.F.A) - Chair person is Sarah Bearns.
Werrington has the Friends of Werrington School Association (F.O.W.S.A) - Chair person is Clare Pritchard.
The aims of these associations are to raise funds to further enhance the education and learning for the children. They also promote partnerships between home and school and foster links between the schools and the community through a wide range of social and fund raising activities.
Membership to the P.T.A's is automatic for parents and guardians of children attending each school and membership is also open to any other interested person.
Meetings are normally held once each half term and details of dates and minutes of meetings are sent home regularly with school newsletters.
Your support and ideas would be greatly appreciated so, please speak to a committee member if you or your family have thoughts for future events, how you think we should spend the money we raise or any other ideas that would make our P.T.A's even better. New members are always welcome and joining in is a great way to meet people and feel more involved with your child's school.
