Children In Need

On Thursday 14th November, North Petherwin pupils looked as though they had forgotten to get dressed!  They paid for the privilege of not coming to school in their uniform and donned their pyjamas for the day. A total of £92 was raised and much fun was had by all.

On Friday 15th November, Werrington School pupils were invited to dress up as ‘people who inspire us’. They donated to the cause for the chance to have a non-uniform day and came in some brilliant costumes! Some of the children chose to dress as someone famous or a superhero, while others chose to dress as a relative who inspires them.

FOWSA held a coffee and cakes morning to help raise further donations and the children were able to purchase these at morning break.

The total raised this year was £104.17, which is a brilliant effort.  Well done to all those that took part and donated money and cakes to support this worthy cause!
