Hit the Surf Beach Trip
On Monday the whole of North Petherwin School went on their annual beach trip. The older children went to Crooklets beach to take part in 'Hit the Surf' - a surfing lesson and beach safety activity set up and run by the RNLI. The younger classes went to Summerleaze to visit the RNLI lifeboat centre for a talk and tour. Afterwards they all met back up on Crooklets beach for a picnic lunch, sand scuplting competitions and rockpooling. Everyone had an educational and fun day! See class blogs for photos of each class' day out.
