North Petherwin 300 mile challenge

1st October 2020

Dear Parents,

On behalf of the PTFA I am pleased announce the
300-MILE CHALLENGE. In lieu of the popular PTFA Sponsored Cycle Ride, which we’re unable to hold this year due to COVID restrictions, we’re excited to announce the inaugural North Petherwin Primary School PTFA 300-Mile Challenge!
Get out there during the half-term break and run, walk, cycle, scoot, ride or hop as far as you can to help beat the whole-school target of
300 miles!
The challenge will run from 24–31 October – how many miles can you cover in a week?!

We’ll be tracking progress each day via Class Dojo – here’s how to take part:
• Look out for Mr P’s daily post on Class Dojo
• Add a comment to Mr P’s daily post to let us know how far you’ve run/walked/cycled/scooted/ridden that day
• Send a photo or video to jphillpotts@andaras.org if you’d like us to share it on Class Dojo
• Ask family and friends to support you by making an online donation to our fundraising page at https://www.peoplesfundraising.com/fundraising/300-mile-challenge
• Make sure your sponsors mention your name in their comment when donating online!

The challenge is open to pupils throughout the school (from Sunbeams to Class 3). There will be rosettes for all participants and a prize for the pupil who covers the most miles within each class, so… GO, NORTH PETHERWIN!

Please be safe when completing your miles – remember your helmet and high-visibility clothing, follow the Highway Code and practise social distancing!
