Admissions

Starting School
Starting school is a great adventure and a big step in your child's life. Whether your child is transferring from another school or starting school for the first time, we understand that new adventures can be both exciting and unsettling. We will support both you and your child to make their start to school life a happy and enjoyable time.
We would encourage you to come and visit our school, have a tour and meet our staff who will be happy to answer your questions, help and advise you.

Admission Of Pupils
Pupils are enrolled full time in the September of the academic year in which their 5th birthday occurs. You may wish your child to come into the nursery prior to this to aid transition into the school. Nursery education is provided from 2-5 years.

Applying for a School Place
To apply for your child to attend one of our schools, a Local Authority Admission Form must be completed. This form can be found in the ‘Starting Reception Booklet’, which is available from our primary schools or from:

There is also an online application facility on: www.cornwall.gov.uk.
