Parliament Groups

At Werrington, we feel it is important that EVERY child has a voice. Therefore, each child is part of a Pupil Parliament group. The groups consist of: Rights Respecting, Education and Learning, Health and Well-being, Sustainability and Climate Change. The pupils have the opportunity to choose which group they wanted to be a part of. The groups meet monthly and are led by lead pupils and adults. The lead pupils were voted for by the pupils in the school.

Leaders have established a personal development curriculum in line with the school's values. They give pupils a voice through school parliament. Leaders ensure they make meaningful decisions. For example, pupils chose the charities the school raises money for.'
